Introducing you to more Stumpwork techniques to create your very own beautiful Bonsai Wisteria that you won't ever need to water. The vine trunk is stitched directly to a chalk shaded background with delicately hanging embroidered Wisteria flowers of thread and silk ribbon.

Hand dyed scrim creates your moss, surrounded by wrapped wire of chunky tree vine and planter bowl creates the tree base. Matching coloured leaves and branches hang to give the drooping effect of the majestic wisteria vein.

Part 1: Preparing the background; stitching the Tree trunk. Dying and creating the planter box and moss

Part 2: Embroidering Wisteria, creating the leaves and branches; adding leaves to branches. Putting it all together
