KODAK 'Cresta' BROWNIE with Kodet Lens 127 Film Camera

An original 50s/60s Kodak 127 film camera

It makes a great display item with an iconic British 1950s look. It would make a great gift for a collector. This model was made between 1955-1958

I don't have access to any film for this camera so it is untested. But its clean enough and the shutter releases, so someone with a bit more knowledge than me and the right film may well be able to use it.

A great prop for any production or shoot set in the 1950s/60s.

In very good vintage condition physically. Untested. Sold as a collectors/display item but possibly working. There is a name written in biro on the inside of the case. Please see ALL photos and read FULL description.

INFO from Camerapedia: The Brownie Cresta was made by Kodak Ltd. in the UK between 1955 and 1965. It was made of plastic and took 6x6cm images on 120 film. The "Kodet" lens had a slider for either a yellow filter or "close-ups" of 4-7ft. The shutter was single speed, approx 1/40s and no B setting.

The Cresta had similar construction to the Brownie 127, but larger.

And from Chuck Baker on
