Core Wool for Needle Felting in .5 oz package

These small packages of undyed core wool are just the right amount for the beginning needle felter who isn't sure if they want to buy a large amount of wool product. I supply these small packs at the classes I teach. This will give you just enough core wool to begin forming a few needle felted animals, one to several, depending on how large you work. For me, I would be able to create approximately 4-8 animals or dolls with this amount of core wool fiber, depending on the actual project and the amount of wool needed to establish the necessary shape.

This wool felts quickly and evenly. Fully washed and carded, this is a medium off-white domestic sourced wool. Perfect for using as core wool for needle felting, it can also be used for a base in wet felting. Not recommended for finish work (due to the chance it may yellow over time), it is recommended you use this to establish a shape and then add colored roving over the top to finish your project.
