Vintage Ladies Bermuda Shorts Sewing Pattern, Uncut 1950's Advance #7877 Misses Sleeveless Shirt & 2 Shorts Lengths, Mid Century Fashion ~
Here is a great pattern from the mid 1950's for making ladies shorts and a sleeveless top too! What a fun way to bring back these very retro styles.
The pattern pieces are still uncut and the instructions are included, of course. You can make the shorts in two lengths, short with or without cuffs and the longer, bermuda length.
You can also make a coordinating fitted sleeveless top with or without pockets. How fun to go to the fabric store and pick put what print you want, not what the department stores say you want.
This pattern was made by the Advance Pattern Company in the 1950's and printed in the U.S.A.
It is in great vintage condition although the outer package and instructions are a little time worn and discolored.
But that won't stop you from making yourself some fabulous mid century summer fashions!
I look for Cool Finds where ever I go and I never know what I’ll run across. I find sewing boxes and so much more and realize that, being vintage, they most likely have been used and will have some wear and tear.
Buttons may have come off of a dress, coat or other article of clothing, or they might have never been used at all, like those on the original cards. Books may have been handled and gone through over and over. I check all patterns to ensure that all pieces are accounted for as well as the directions. If they are used, cut or missing, I have noted that in my description above.
I describe my items as well as I can for you and do try to point out any flaws of any kind. Please look at the details in the photos above as they are a part of my description and are intended to help you determine age and condition. All items are sold as is. If you have any questions, please let me know as I would be more than happy to answer them.
