More details: The jumpsuit can be made sleeve less, or with a short sleeve. The front is overlapping, with a notched collar and lapels. The bottom is a pair of wide shorts, called culottes, with side seam pockets. This model is created for a person of average to tall height, the construction is based on a B or C-cup bra size. The length and bust size can be adjusted, a short description is included.
The culottes can be made separately. The jumpsuit and the culottes can both be made with or without an overlapping fake wrap in the front. The jumpsuit is closed with an exposed zipper in the culottes, on the wearers left side. The culottes have elastic waist and no zipper. The waist is gathered with 3 rows of elastic in the back on both styles.
The fit is quite loose in the bodice ( top) and more fitted around the waist. The elastic makes the waist ajustable. The culottes are VERY wide, with side seam pockets.
This jumpsuit can be made to look business- and work appropriate, or cool and contemporary! It's flattering and versatile, and the culottes are very spot on in trend! This garment must be made out of a woven material. This jumpsuit will look and feel best in a very drapey material. Look for a thin and flowy feeling. All stiff and thick fabrics must be avoided. Thin linen may work, just make sure it will turn soft with wearing. Dress weight material will work best, look for a georgette, sateen, crepe or challis. Avoid plain weave cotton. Recommended materials are rayon/viscose, polyester, thin wool and silk. Cotton and cotton mixes can work well, but stay away from the stiff types, like quilting cotton.
