Needle Felting Wool Roving Sliver -
The Felted Ewe proudly offers Earthsongs Variegated Dyed Wool Sliver! This 22 Micron Sliver (pronounced Sly - ver) is a Custom Blend of Domestic & New Zealand Breeds grown & processed right here in the U.S.A! Earthsongs Variegated Wool Sliver Fibers come in a wonderful, vivid variety of Colors that add unique textures and tone-on-tone effects to your projects. This is a medium fine wool, very soft to the touch, but still has that Crimpy Texture Needle Felters love. These fibers are an excellent choice for Needle Felting, Wet Felting, Nuno Felting & even for Spinning. They are commercially dyed & carded but I do find that dye lots can vary with this supplier so please order enough to complete your project. Although these fibers are very clean, due to the nature of the cleaning process, some vegetable matter may be left behind. Because these fibers are commercially dyed we cannot guarantee the color fastness of any of these fibers.
What is the difference between Sliver & Roving?
Wool carding, using a Commercial or Drum Carder, is the process of brushing the wool with wire teeth, in this case, to slightly align the fibers and clean the vegetable matter (VM) from the wool. The wool is then divided into easy to use Roving Strips or Ropes, about the thickness of an empty toilet paper roll & with a slight twist. Slivers are processed one step farther & are thinner in circumference, between a dime & a nickel with no twist. Both contain aligned & non-aligned fibers.

Please Note: Although we attempt to portray colors as accurately as possible, some color samples shown may not be exact. Factors such as your computer monitor, brightness and contrast settings and gamma setting can all affect the colors shown.

If your order has already been shipped, unfortunately, I will not be able to refund or reship your Order until or unless your Order is returned to me. If your Order is returned, I will notify you & if you still want it, you will be responsible for paying the Shipping Cost again. If you do not want it, I would be able to refund your Order at that time minus the Shipping Charge as I can't get a refund on that. I appreciate your understanding of this Policy.

Unfortunately, no. I am a really small company & can not purchase large enough quantities to be able to offer either.

Rarely is anyone ever disappointed but if you are, Please notify me with your issue. If we can not come up with an agreeable solution you are more than welcome to return the item(s). Return shipping costs are your responsibility & I will only be able to refund you for the item(s) only not the original shipping charge either in whole or in part. Items must be returned intact, complete & in same condition as shipped. Any item returned in any other condition may not be eligible for a full refund but a partial refund of the purchase price to be determined on the condition received. I appreciate your understanding of this policy.

Although I am sympathetic, unfortunately I am not responsible for replacing or refunding any Orders that get lost in the mail, are stolen after delivery or are delivered to an address other than the one you provided that is printed on your Shipping Label. Please check with your Neighbors, your Building Manager, if applicable, & / or your Postal Carrier to see if they are able to help you locate your package. I ship all Orders in good faith, to the address you provide. Once your Order has been relinquished to the Post Office I no longer have control over ensuring it reaches it's destination. I appreciate your understanding of this policy.
