Stoneware batter jug with a distinct "wave" pattern, in flawless condition.

Brown-slip lined with white tin-oxide outer glaze.

This batter jug was made by the White-Foley pottery of Saint-John, New Brunswick in the late 19th century (1870-1890).

Shown on page 103 of Donald Webster's book "Early Canadian Pottery".
