Please be aware that the USPS is taking a VERY long time to ship first class mail. Don't expect your pieces inside of seven days after they ship. (Though you may get lucky.) If you need faster shipping, consider upgrading to Priority Mail, which is an available option when you check out. Both first class and Priority Mail come with tracking. Sometimes the tracking does NOT work (it seems as though the package has not moved), and yet the buyer receives the package anyway. Go figure. Sometimes a USPS package can get "lost", and then arrive a month later. The USPS delivery system is a great mystery to me.
That said, I would appreciate it if you would wait two weeks before asking me where your package is. You and I and the Post Office all have the same tracking info, so there is really nothing more I can do if you haven't receive your package. If the (domestic) package hasn't arrived in a month I will re-send a new item. I purchase insurance only if the item is very expensive. I'm sorry that I can't send a new item until a month has gone by, but the USPS can be so unreliable that my experience with thousands of packages is that sometimes it can take that long. And I'm talking in the United States. International purchasers--your package could easily take a month or more if we get unlucky and it gets stuck in customs. One international Priority Mail package took more than three months. Though recently a First Class piece got to its international destination in less than a week. So I have no control over that situation either.
Again, please get Priority Mail if you get anxious about your packages. And even that is going to take several days (in the USA). Express Mail will get there the next day in almost all cases (USA).
International buyers, please note--An international buyer has made me aware of a rather high customs tax she paid on her order. Please factor this into your buying decisions if you are overseas. I don't think this happens every time, but you might get unlucky on this one. Please let me know your experiences.
Returns & exchanges
I sometimes accept unworn, pristine returns and may refund the purchase price but not the shipping. If the item is a custom order I usually do not accept returns (but you can always ask). Please contact me immediately if you have an issue with the item.
If the piece needs repair within the first month of wearing, send it back to me in a small envelope and I will pay for your shipping and send it back to you repaired (or replaced if necessary). If it needs repair after the first month, please convo me. I will probably ask you to send it back to me at your cost for repair. Depending on the situation, I may need to charge you something for it. If you ordered the piece in the wrong size you can send it to me at your cost, and I will change the size, but you will need to cover shipping both ways and my time and materials for the new or altered piece. This could be a lot or a little, depending on the specific item and whether it has been worn or not.
