Victorian Script handle design from the Original Collection (please see my other listings for the different handle designs that I have available)
The art of quilling and paper bead rolling have been around for quite some time and both are still becoming more popular amongst crafters and artisans each and every day. With the help of my husband, we have designed a special tool that will make both of these creative arts a bit easier. I call my fun tool the "Kraft-i Roller".
The Kraft-i Roller is a slotted tool with a decorative handle. It works by inserting a strip of paper into the slot and rotating the tool with your hand to form a tight roll. Once your bead or quilled piece is complete, it slides off the tool with ease.
I offer this tool in two different sizes, The regular size Kraft-i Roller makes a 1/8" hole in a paper bead (about the same diameter of a wooden skewer). It measures 6 1/2" in total length and the slotted end measures 1 1/2". This size can handle paper from the thickness of a magazine page up to the thickness of cardstock.
The small size Kraft-i Roller makes a 3/32" hole in a paper bead (about the same diameter as a toothpick). It measures 6 1/4" in total length. The slotted end measures 1 1/4". This size can handle paper from the thickness of a magazine page up to the thickness of a sheet of scrapbook paper or printer paper.
Also included in this listing is a free 15 page tutorial called "Paper Bead Tutorial for Beginners". The tutorial includes detailed descriptions and pictures of how to make a paper bead from start to finish. It comes in PDF format and will be emailed to you after payment is received. You must have Adobe Reader® in order to view the tutorial.
**Please note: this tool is NOT a toy and is not recommended for use by children 12 years of age and under.**
** Bracelets and beads are not included. These items are examples of what can be made using the Kraft-i Roller **
