The pattern is written in English using American crochet terms.
Measurements: 12 inches (30-31cm) long, 8 inches (20-21cm) wing span,
made from Worsted Weight/Category 4/Aran/10 ply 100% Acrylic yarn
This is a one-piece baby dragon, well, almost : the wings are sewn on, but
the head/body/legs/tail are made as one piece; this toy is made from the muzzle to the end of the tail
This baby dragon is made in amigurumi crochet technique, using mostly single crochet stitches, the work is done in rounds.
The gray-and-teal dragon is easier: the head-body-tail are made as one piece, with one continuous thread; the orange-and-red dragon's head is made with an opening for the neck, where another thread is attached for the body-tail; the sewing is necessary only for attaching the wings.
Crochet hook: I used crochet hook 3.75 mm ; USA – F-5 for Worsted Weight yarn. You might want to use different hook –everyone's style is different; the aim here is to make tight stitches, so the fill fiber does not show through.
Gauge: 17-18 stitches in 2.5 inches (10cm) for Worsted Weight Yarn
ch(s) = chain(s)
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc=half double crochet
dc = double crochet
tr = triple crochet
dec = stitch decrease
inc = stitch increase
