Optional Starch - I prefer Liquid but Spray is fine Blocking Board and Pins
The BEST things about this pattern: 1. Any size thread or yarn can be used to make this pattern. 2. Written in American English terms. 3. When made as is, it can fit in a hand. 4. If you need help, my email address is on the bottom of each pattern page.
This pattern is very special to me. It is the 3rd pattern I have made since my husband started his journey through cancer surgery and recovery. He had an Adenocarcinoma in his Duodenum.
Our lives have changed completely. Our lives now revolve on testing blood sugar, eating a diet low in fat until the pancreas heals itself and taking additional meds and shots. However, we both keep in mind that he has one of the few cancers that are considered cured when surgery can be performed.
Now, about the cross itself. 1. It was made with crochet thread #10. It can also be made from any size thread or yarn you prefer, using an appropriate hook. 2. After starching (I prefer liquid but you can use spray starch) and blocking the cross dried 4 - 4.5" in length. I did not starch the tail or tassle.
PLEASE REMEMBER... This listing is for a CROCHET PATTERN.. . not the finished item.
