***NOTE
There is only a slight difference between SHABBY CHIC & MODERATE DISTRESS.
Moderate Distress tends to be a "heavier shabby chic"...however, each piece of wood distresses differently, so each piece will vary on the distressing. Both Shabby Chic & Moderate Distressing may expose small areas of wood under the paint.

Please feel free to add your preferences in the note area of your order regarding
if you prefer "a little lighter" or "a little heavier" on some type of finish you order.

I now offer hand painted lettering as an option for most signs.
I don't have each listing updated yet, but if you see

HP (Hand Painted) or VL (Vinyl Lettering)...you may choose. If these are not an option, just send me a quick message, and I'll let you know if your sign is available in hand painted lettering.

There is minimal difference in the 2 different lettering types in how they look on the sign. The paint can be distressed, the vinyl cannot...so it is mainly personal preference.

Please check my store front page announcement for current production time. My turn around time is currently 2-3wks. I do offer Rush service (unless noted in announcements), which is an additional cost to receive your sign sooner.

In most cases, I am able to offer Rush Service, which is an additional cost to your order, to have your sign processed/shipped sooner. Rush service is an additional cost added to your order which does not include the cost of the sign(s) or shipping. It is a fee added to your order, to cover cost of time to process your order sooner than standard production time (along with other scheduled orders).

My signs are made to be used indoors only. Weathering from the natural elements may cause damage to your sign.

I gift wrap all my signs. Depending on the availability of my "pretty gift wrap paper", I use brown paper for wrapping, but finish it with a pretty ribbon. If you would like to include a card, please include what you would like on the card (clearly) in the 'note to seller' area at checkout. Notes left in Etsy messaging cannot be guaranteed to be included due to the large volume of message received.

I primarily use high quality vinyl for my lettering. It becomes one with the wood over time, and will last possibly longer than paint. It provides crisp lettering and allows for intricate details. I do however now offer hand painted lettering for some signs. Hand painted lettering works well for lettering in which you would like some distressing on shabby chic or moderate distressed signs. Please contact me if you would like to have your sign hand painted, otherwise, crisp vinyl lettering will be used.

Shipping costs have definitely risen over the past couple of years. Wood signs can be quite heavy to ship. I try to use the least expensive of USPS or Fed Ex shipping. Since I offer multiple sizes for most of my signs, and the system does not allow me to customize the shipping cost for the various sizes, therefore; I usually price it for the larger signs available. Please feel free to send me a message after purchase if you order one of the smaller sizes, as I may be able to offer a partial refund if this is the case.

After you place your item(s) in your cart, you should see a 'optional note to seller' box in the cart area. This is the perfect place to put your information as it will attach to your order. Please double check your names spelling and dates for accuracy.

♥PRODUCTION TIME
Current turn around time is 2-3wks from order to ship date. (Shipping generally takes an additional 2-4 days in 48 contiguous). Production time is based on the current # of orders being worked. Please see below for Rush order details.

•••PLEASE NOTE••• Rush service does NOT include expedited shipping cost, it is strictly to cover the cost of adding your sign in with normally scheduled orders. If you need your sign very quickly, any expedited shipping costs will be in addition to Rush service cost.)

♥SHIPPING:
I ship USPS Priority & Fed Ex Ground in most cases in US. Most items easily arrive within 3-4 business days, and many times sooner than that. USPS & FEDEX do include insurance in most cases. You will receive a tracking number for your items via message from Etsy or you can find it in your order information once it has shipped. If you need your order by a specific date, please let me know at the time of order.
**Rush service may be required.
If you need your sign(s) quickly, expedited shipping is available at customer's expense. Message me, and I can let you know the rate for your zip code.

♥SHIPPING TO ANOTHER ADDRESS:
If you would like your item shipped to a different address, PLEASE change the shipping address at the time you place your order. It will be shipped to the address you request. If you request change of shipping address after your order is placed, in the Etsy notes, there is no way for me to change the address at that time.
I will do my best to note the change,but there is no way to guarantee it will be shipped to this address.

♥SHIPPING OUTSIDE 48 CONTIGUOUS STATES - Some locations are not able to complete their purchase without me adding the particular area to the listing, please let me know if you having any problems with shipping. There may also be additional shipping costs to some locations with heavier 1.5 inch thick wood or larger sized pieces. Extra shipping will be required to be paid prior to sign being completed & shipped.

♥INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING - I do ship outside of USA. If international shipping is not available for item you are trying to purchase, please contact me as I continue to try to update all items.
Thicker wood (1.5 inch) & Larger sized signs may have extra shipping costs which will be required to be paid before item is shipped.

♥INTERNATIONAL BUYERS are responsible to know the rules & regulations including Duty Tax of International Sales before purchasing.
We are not privy to each country's process and have no way of knowing if or how much charges will be. These charges are not included in the shipping costs paid on Etsy. Any additional costs are the sole responsibility of the customer, and not the responsibility of Castle Inn Designs.

♥COMBINED SHIPPING: If you order multiple signs during same time, I will gladly combine shipping costs for you in most cases. There are some instances in which I prefer not to send signs together to avoid damage to the signs. An estimated combined shipping cost is listed with each item, but may actually be less. Please message me, and I will adjust your shipping total prior to you making payment or refund you the difference after the transaction is complete.

►♥◄Once your item is shipped, I have no further control over the package. I pack your sign with care, and try to make sure it will arrive safely.

♥DAMAGED shipments:
Unfortunately this does occasionally occur. If an item is damaged, it is important to keep ALL the packaging inside the box as well as the shipping box , as this will be required by USPS or FedEx for insurance reimbursement purposes. Please take photos, and since the customer has all of the material and the damaged sign, I ask that you please make the claim to the shipper (this can be done online, over the phone, or in local office). Please contact me if you need any assistance with this process.

♥LOST or STOLEN Shipments: All items are shipped with a tracking # which the customer will be able to access in your account. Please take note of when your item may arrive and make arrangements to have it picked up if you won't be able to. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If the item tracking information states the item was delivered, please check with your local Post Office or Fed Ex office, as many times, my customers report that it was never delivered even though it states as such, and often arrives at a later date, or may have been delivered to a neighbor or family member.

♥REFUNDS & EXCHANGES: ALL SALES ARE FINAL!

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

♥CUSTOM INFORMATION
Please double check your dates & spellings, as I complete the sign with the information provided by the customer. Any errors made by the customer, will either delay shipment (if not shipped yet), or will lead to extra shipping costs & repair costs.
If an error in custom information is made by the customer, shipping cost both ways plus repair cost will be sole responsibility of the customer. If the error was made by Castle Inn Designs, we will cover 2 way shipping costs, or replace the sign (depending on the error).
