If you are a woodworker, and you ever do inlay, intarsia, marquetry, and/or segmented-type wood work, then you should certainly have some American Holly in your wood "library"! Holly is the whitest wood in the world and one of the premier woods for these woodworking purposes.
As you can see from my other listings, we make a lot of great wood-based products, but the other half of my business is supplying exotic and domestic hardwoods to woodworkers all over the world....and although premium (i.e. blazing-white) kiln-dried holly is very difficult to find (apart from through my company), it is primarily what I supply. So give this piece a try...you'll be glad you did. And if you have need of a different size piece(s) or a different quantity, feel free to look up my company online and you'll see a far wider range of offerings (including holly pen blanks, turning squares, dowels and veneer).
This listing is for one piece measuring roughly 1" thick x 1-1/2" wide x 36-3/4" long. It is blazing-white and surfaced (hit or miss). Gorgeous piece! Please note that the photo shown is a sample only and not the actual piece you will receive. Actual piece may have a couple small pin knots, otherwise, photo very accurately represents the high-quality holly that will be supplied!
This holly is gorgeous. It's just like the picture that convinced me to buy it. Bright pure white with only enough teensy little knots to prove to me that it is not a man made knock off of mother nature's finest.
