Item details

This vintage Kodaslide Dissolve Control was made sometime in the late 1940's for dissolving or fading between two projectors, with switches for operating a room light and the viewing light on the unit itself.
It would also work to cross-fade the power between any 2 electrical devices, like a 2-way dimmer switch. It's made by the Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester NY, and has a 150 watt maximum for each projector or lamp.

It was salvaged from an old camera shop, in great condition with original box and packaging. We tested it and it works fine, including the viewing light. To use it, you plug devices into the Projector A and B outlets, and then turn the controller to fade the power between them.

Not only is it still useful, but it's a beautiful piece of Midcentury industrial design.

Item #2-150004

The unit is about 6" wide, 6" tall and 5" deep, and weighs about 4.5 pounds.
