Tulip Border - Kaszuby style, machine embroidery file vp3 for 5x7 hoop, great for a shirt neckline
This is a digital file
This is a complete tulip design, a miniature of the Tulipan border that I use for tableclothes. Tulipan is a kashubian flower used in embroidery made by Kaszubs. This is a machine embroidery file in the VP3, PES, DST, EXP, 10o, HUS, JEF, PEC, VIP, XXX formats. You may convert it to any format required by your machine. Size is 177x61 mm, 7411 stitches, 7 colors, but 10 changes. The design is about 2.25 inches high x 7 inches and includes 6 tulips and 5 other flowers.
Design by Mary Mishefske, a Kashub, in the Kashubian style. Flowers used include: tulipan (several), roża, niezapominajka, liść ostu, jagody, pąk, dzwonki. Copyright 2016. Do not use without permission. If you have bought the design, you are free to use for all personal projects, but not for commercial reproduction, ie. you may not sell any item with this design.
When I did the neckline, I change the base colors because of the dark teal background. for the blues I used 1111, 1193, & 1122 and for Red 1065, yellow 1067, black 1822, green 1177, from the sulky color chart.
The classic colors I usually use are a mix of Robinson-Anton (RA) and Sulky (Su) threads: Sky blue Su1248, Lake blue Su1534, Sea blue Su572, Sun Yellow Su1024, Green Su1177, Black earth Su1005, and Red RA2378.

Frequently asked questions:
FAQ: Do you do custom embroidering?
Answer: To actually do the embroidery if you do not have an embroidery machine, I recommend an embroidery shop such as Midwest Embroidery. http://www.midwestembroideryandgraphics.com/contact-us.html
I would provide the design and they would stitch it out on anything you desire. It would cost about $15 for the 4 inch heart to be stitched out once. It is a very intricate design with 7 colors. I have it on several shirts. I just do not have a commercial embroidery machine that can do rapid stitchouts with automatic thread changes to make it cost effective for me to embroider items. I would have to charge at least double with my machine since it's much slower and needs attendance at the stitching. Midwest embroidery uses the EXP format which is included in the zip file you download after purchasing my designs. Please check with the embroidery shop you plan to use for the proper file format prior to purchase to see if it available.
FAQ: Do you do custom digitizing?
Answer: I am not yet retired from my day job, so I do this for fun. Unless your desire is pertinent to my theme, such as Kashubian embroidery, I think you would be better off with another digitizer.
FAQ: Are these sew-on patches?
Answer: No, these are designs for computerized embroidery machines. You must have a computerized embroidery sewing machine to use these designs.
FAQ: Are these patterns for hand embroidery?
Answer: No, these are not full size patterns with instructions that can be used for hand embroidery. You must have an embroidery machine for these designs.
FAQ: Do you have any finished items?
Answer: Yes, I have some embroidered towels/wash clothes and banners. Look in the section labelled "Embroidered Items."
FAQ: How are your designs organized?
Answer: I organize them by the hoop size that fits them. I use both millimeter size and inches.
