Item details

This listing is for the download of a PDF sewing pattern to make boot carry bags in two sizes. It is NOT for a physical paper pattern. The short boot bag is 10 1/2” high and the tall boot bag is 23” high. Either bag can be made with optional lining.

The bag in the photo was sewn by a customer using this pattern and is not for sale. The embellishments were added by the customer and are not included in the pattern. Credit: Christa Riddleton

The PDF file includes instructions illustrated with diagrams and the bag pattern pieces. Separate patterns are given for each bag. Download the file using Adobe Reader and print out the pages using 8 1/2" by 11" or A4 paper.

MATERIALS

The recommended fabric is heavier weight coated nylon Cordura™ but any sturdy and water resistant fabric such as canvas can be used. Consider how your sewing machine will handle all of the layers when purchasing materials and notions. For the optional lining use faux sheepskin fleece, polar fleece, or a plush blanket-type fabric. Use nylon or polypropylene webbing and an outerwear zipper.

Short boot bag: 1 YD fabric (45" or 60" wide), 35" of 2" wide webbing, 12" zipper

Tall boot bag: 1 1/2 YDS fabric (45" or 60" wide), 60" of 2" wide webbing, 22" zipper

Optional lining- same yardages
