This was spun for a major hand knitting yarn company and is a factory 'end', left over when the dye batch was finished.
Its a ring spun yarn, so its softer than you would expect of a pure cotton.
Most 'cotton rich' hand knitting yarns of this weight have other fibres blended prior to spinning to soften the end product so that they can be mule spun, which is a cheaper process. Ring spun cotton yarn, is softer than yarn which is mule spun but more expensive to produce so I was lucky to get this.
To keep the cost down, I'm offering it as I got it, on hanks/skeins of at least 230g (some are as much as 250g, its pot luck)
If this sells out and you'd like some, more is available so please contact me as soon as possible so that I can get it for you.
DK weight, (8ply)
230g (min) skein
Min 251m per skein/hank (min) Probably a lot more as this is the minimum hank/skein weight. (109m per 100g.}
As this is pure cotton, some shrinkage may occur if washed at too high a temperature.

Great quality, generous amount of lush fibre with just a bit of give. I can't wait to dye this for use in a shawl. Thank you so much!
EDIT: I JUST DYED THIS. IT'S MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE. Will be buying more shortly. Amazing colour retention and even dyeing tendencies. THANK YOU! <3
