Item details

This cross stitch book is called, "Making Gifts In Counted Cross Stitch" and is written by Jana Hauschild, published by Blandford Press in 1990. It has 128 pages of delightful project ideas with more than 100 charted designs. For the novice stitcher, the book starts off with beginner's instructions and techniques and has nicely diagrammed stitches. The book measures 7-1/2" wide by 9-3/4" high by 3/8" thick. It has glossy soft covers and matte inside pages. There are color photos of all completed projects and the charts are presented in black and white.

The book is in great shape. I see very little wear to the front or back covers except for a tiny amount of wear to the corner tips. The spine is tight and there is no writing or page bends. To me, this book looks almost new. I see a lot of projects here that are timeless and will never go out of style. You would be garnering a few points if you gave this as a gift to a stitcher. Just sayin'...

I'll ship USPS Media Mail.

FAQs

It will take me 1 to 3 days to prepare your order. Most of the time, if payment is confirmed, I will ship the same day.

Yes. Contact me and we'll work out the details.

I do launder and press my linens to remove soiling before I list them for sale. If I can, I also launder needlework before I frame pieces. For all other vintage items, I usually give them a light dusting and wiping and try to preserve their vintage appearance.

Since the majority of my items are vintage and come to me from outside sources, I cannot guarantee the smoke-free or pet-free integrity as I don't know their history. No one in my household is a smoker nor is smoking allowed inside but we do have a household cat. All inventory is kept wrapped and stored and away from the cat.

I wish I could answer as, yes, but the majority of my items are vintage and previously owned. As such, some items are likely to show wear and have imperfections, as can be expected with age. I always mention imperfections in my listing details and try to capture flaws in pictures. I try to provide good images and am always happy to supply more pictures if you ask. If items are handmade, then yes, they are in like new condition.

I hope so! I pride myself on my careful packaging and 100% perfect feedback. I've had my shop on Etsy for over seven years and only one item has ever arrived broken.

My main area of expertise is cross stitch and other needlework. I am a previous cross stitch pattern designer who sold wholesale worldwide. I've also had a passion for collectibles and antiques and over the years have gained a little knowledge about a lot of things. I research until I find my answers or ask local dealers for help

International customers are responsible for Import Duties, Taxes and Other Changes. They are NOT included in my item price or shipping price. Custom forms will not be falsified to avoid customs fees (please do not ask). You may need to contact your country's Custom's Office to find out what additional costs will apply to your purchase prior to your purchase. Finally, due to high international shipping costs, international returns will not be accepted unless you cover both the initial and the return shipping costs.
