vintage buttons...button collector...antique white buttons, flower buttons...Suwanee Pearl Buttons, craft buttons..crazy quilt buttons,
Amazing vintage buttons. I found these in an antique shop in Mt. Dora, Florida in old sewing basket. It features a beautiful old card with 2 original etched Mother of Pearl buttons attached. Lettering on card says Original Suwanee Pearl...Luckyday..trademark with palm trees and it loos like 10.00 in pencil at top of card.
This assortment features two shank buttons ( one called wedding cake button), and rest all fintage two hole buttons with the exception of one with no holes, but very pretty. Maybe not a button but was in the assortment. So, twelve buttons total plus disk with no holes.
These buttons are mostly in the white or off white category due to age. I believe they are mostly plastic of a sort. The three largest are approximately 1 inch in size.
They would be a great addition to your crazy quilt block, pincushion, scrapbook page, etc. You're sure to love them for your collection.

After owning a "brick and morter shop" for 24 years, I am aware of many items that stitchers love and search for. My home has 3 storage areas full of items that I still have on hand after closing my retail shop. Each day, I try to open at least one box and am constantly discovering new items. I will post as they are found. I also work 2-4 days a month at a needlework shop in Trenton, Florida. I found that I really missed talking with other stitchers.
