Item details

Here is a very nice old Vintage Sterling Silver Thimble. After doing some research the inside of the thimble shows the shield mark of the maker. Made by Simons Bros. Co. of Philadelphia which started business in 1839. This thimble is decorated with a very pretty design and marked on the outside with a number 13 near the top edge. A portion of the outside I have polished with silver cleaner a portion of the outside to show you the beautiful patina engraved in the it. Please convo if there are questions I haven't answered for you. Measures 3/4 inch high. Weighs 2.6 grams or 0.03 ounce
Great for hand sewers or the collector of beautiful thimbles.
I am sorry that my pictures aren't better quality to show you the detail
