Highest premium Scandinavian hides. Full-grain aniline-dyed "nude" leather. It is a thick cut leather which results in a natural heavy pebble grain or "shrunken" effect. The leather is distinguishable by its extremely soft hand, rich, even colouring, and pronounced pebble graining. Size 12"x12" or 30.5cmx30.5cm Thickness 2,3-2,5 mm
Full-grain leather refers to hides that have not been sanded, buffed, or snuffed (as opposed to top-grain or corrected leather) to remove imperfections (or natural marks) on the surface of the hide. The grain remains allowing the fibre strength and durability. The grain also has breath ability, resulting in less moisture from prolonged contact. Rather than wearing out, it will develop a patina over time. High quality leather furniture and footwear are often made from full-grain leather.
