This extreme primitive doll is Brynsworth! Isn't she a sorry-looking thing? I just love that ugly, ugly face with that crazy mouth! :) Brynsworth is 15 inches tall. She is made from coffee/vanilla/cinnamon stained, painted, and sanded muslin. Her mouth and shirt are made from grungied osnaburg and her jumper is made from seriously grungied and distressed homespun! There are two rusty safety pins with rusted jingle bells pinned onto the front of her jumper. Brynsworth's eyes are mismatched vintage buttons and her hair is scraggly sheep's wool. You will love making this doll!
In this EMAILED PATTERN I've included easy step-by-step instructions along with full-size patterns, a color photo, and lots of little tips and secrets on how to make primitive dolls.
Olde Rustic Prims patterns are originals designed by me. I've designed my patterns for the basic sewer and include very detailed instructions along with the pattern for making this doll. My patterns do require some basic sewing skills though.
