Orientale and Evasion were winsome 1955 styles from Gautier Languereau. They were sold separately, but make a delightful ensemble when put together. I added the beret as it gives a stylish French flair!
I show the dress in a pure cotton sateen, and the contrast collar, cuffs and skirt band are in patterned cotton fabric with a "oriental" motif, in the same spirit as the original dress.
The little jacket shown is fine wale corduroy with gold metal buttons, also like the original G-L style. The jacket and beret are completely lined. The hem of the skirt is cut with pinking scissors and left unstitched, as in the original. All three patterns could authentically be made up in other cotton or wool fabrics for very different looks. These patterns are basic and versatile and could provide many other outfits for your Bleuettes!
The pattern is beautifully printed, with a full color cover showing several views. It is contained in a heavy plastic sleeve which you can insert into a binder. This Bleuette clothing was made to fit the Janice Naibert type Bleuette body, (approx 10 and 5\/8" tall with head) but should fit others as well. Please convo if you have any questions. This clothing should also fit (perhaps with minor adjustments) dolls with well proportioned bodies, which measure 10"-11"..
You are buying the pattern only... the doll and accessories shown in the photos are not included. Doll clothing made by, and the pattern designed and published by Dede Kern.
