I'm thrilled to have an embroidery machine but the investment it required was uncomfortably large... so I need to let that great toy earn its keep! I love the process of making quilt blocks, so I thought they would be a good item to add to my etsy store. I hope others will enjoy using these blocks in their sewing projects as much as I enjoyed making them. The fabric is always washed, dried, and ironed before I cut the blocks. I do my best to make sure that the fabric is carefully squared before I cut each block. Please be aware that the process of hooping and embroidering can pull the fabric out of true, however, so the finished blocks may no longer be a perfect square.
Washing Instructions: Cold Wash, Tumble Dry Low, Cool Iron
Embroidery Stabilizer Used: Wash Away
Notes: The stabilizer has been partially trimmed down, but has not yet been washed away. Soaking the fabric and gently swishing/spraying the stabilizer should wash away the remaining excess. I used the wash-away because white fabric is notorious for the stabilizer showing through!
The thread used for this set is a multicolor spool which changes between light blue, purple, and fuscia.
