Very nice set of two vintage melmac mixing bowls from Brookpark. Brookpark resembles Texas Ware of Dallas, Texas.
Long before Rachel Ray was a millionaire cooking show host, these bowls were originally made out of the bits and pieces of colored plastic left over from other manufacturing runs. They became some of the most sought-after items as time passed, understandably, as they are one-of-a-kind originals, each one different and with all sorts of interesting swirls and combinations of colors!
This pair of bowls has a creme background color with flecks of apricot, turquoise and pink running through it. They are in excellent condition. The smaller bowl has the Brookpark mark on it, but there is no doubt they are a matching pair!
Bigger bowl measures 9 3/4" in diameter and 4 1/4" tall. The smaller is 8 1/4" diameter and 3 3/8" tall. So many uses in the kitchen, start your collection today!
