Set of seven Victorian calling cards elegant beautiful calligraphy family names Phlegar Ray Dwifee Mullissin Steele Davis
This is the kind of glimpse into the past that really makes you realize how much has changed in 100 years. These elegant calling cards were used for formal introductions and visits, a sign of genteel manners and station in life. This is a set of 7 cards, three are plain with beautifully hand written names, and three used to have a top piece that would have been pulled up to view the printed name underneath but the top piece is missing. The seventh is a beautiful picture of a boy with a swan in the water for Emett Phlegar.
The calligraphy is exquisite - so ornate and beautiful. They measure about 3 3/8" x 1 7/8" and are in quite good condition for their age - edges pretty smooth, a couple with some discoloration.

Shipping & policies
I am happy to ship anywhere, by whatever method you would prefer. If a shipping fee is listed, it is for USPS Retail Ground. This is a new name, used to be standard, but the zones and fees have changed. If you would rather have your item sent another way, just let me know before you pay, so I can give you the exact fee.
All new listings will have the calculated shipping option, because I can't keep up with the ever changing and rising new fees. It has always been hard to quote a shipping fee before I know where the package is going, so have decided to switch to this system. Seems to be working well so far.
NOTICE: If you want combined shipping on more than one item, please contact me before payment so that I can figure out the actual shipping cost. I don't think the calculated shipping method can do anything but add up the separate fees which would usually be too much.
Rosy's accepts Paypal and credit cards.
Returns & exchanges
I am happy to refund the price of an item and the shipping fees if an item is not as I have described. I really make an effort to be as accurate in my descriptions as possible. If an item is lost or damaged in the mail, I will refund the price of the item, but not the shipping fees. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to communicate with me, I think I am pretty reasonable about these things, and will also get back to you quickly.
If you want to return an item that you are not happy with, I only refund if the item has been misrepresented - not for buyers remorse - in which case, I will refund your purchase price minus the shipping fees upon receipt of the merchandise in good condition. The item must be shipped back within one week of delivery.
