Pretty much your basic true white soft wool roving, approximately 4"staple, crimpy, cushy, next-to-skin-skin soft. Not micron tested but most likely low 20's. This listing for 4 ounces.
This roving is from a Wyoming flock, a range sheep but very little VM for an unjacketed sheep. Best uses would include articles needing softness, but clearly this will produce a yarn with excellent memory. It's an easy spin. It will felt but I would expect not as fast or as densely as merino.
We feature US small farm fiber as the basis for all animal fibers, fleeces purchased directly from the person who raised the animal. Our rovings are shipped in boxes, never poly mailers, to guarantee they are fluffy and pristine upon arrival.
