This rich, concentrated tomato powder is made from organic tomatoes, carefully dried and finely ground to create an intensely flavorful powder. A spoonful or two added to any tomato dish, sauce, soups and more make any dish delightfully rich. It's a great way to kick up the flavor in vegetable soup, spaghetti sauce, and adding a pinch makes a smooth, satisfying Bloody Mary for that special breakfast or brunch.
Tomato powder adds a deep rich color and flavor to fresh homemade pasta and you can substitute this concentrated powder for tomato paste in many dishes. When you need tomato paste and don't want to make a trip to the store, just mix 6 teaspoons tomato powder with 3/4 cup hot water and stir. Let the mixture rehydrate for 10 minutes. This recipe makes an amount equal to one six ounce can to tomato paste. Add a couple of teaspoons to vegetable juices and smoothies to enhance the flavor.
This is a great all around seasoning in any kitchen.

I wanted to have info about how many tsps or tbsps I needed per cup of tomato juice, not to add the taste to stews, sauces etc. Never got the answer and just tried to figure it out myself.
