This is a set of 10 vintage white plastic buttons, right out of my Grandmother's button box. They certainly have that 1940's look to them.
These buttons aren't stark white, more of an off white, 7/8" across, with a square "cut" into the front of the button. All have molded shanks.
All 10 buttons are in great shape, One button has a slight yellowish imperfection across the front (you can see it in the first photo), I can't wash it off, but I honestly haven't tried very hard. Another has a tiny black smudge on the back (visible in the shank photo).
These buttons were cut off an article of clothing before being tossed in the button box, so they are definitely used.
