This fairly fast growing Cleistocactus needs a full depth pot (rather than the half pot used for most cacti) and re-potting in the Spring, to reach its full height- 6 feet (2m), which is when it should start to produce red flowers. Keep dry in the Winter, and water/feed in the Summer, allow to dry between watering. Thrives (and looks its best) in full sun. Not frost hardy - min. Winter temperature 5/10 degrees C.
