Item details

Navajo Churro roving produced by our ewe Anna, sheared by us, and processed by Stonehedge Fiber Mill. This listing is for 4 ounces. If you need more of Anna's wool please contact me and I will see how much I have left.

Anna's wool is typical Navajo Churro with long, strong, lustrous outer fibers and soft inner fibers. We do not coat our sheep so there may be a few little pieces of vegetable matter.

Navajo Churro wool is not next to the skin soft but it makes an incredibly strong, lustrous and durable roving that is easy to spin and felt for rugs and outerwear.

The Navajo Churro breed is on the threatened species list. These hardy little sheep deserve a place on this earth. They have a rich history of providing the kind of wool that can make a beautiful handcrafted item that will last generations.
