I picked up this amazing dead-stock vintage fabric in the Fashion District of Los Angeles. It is lightweight, white cotton fabric printed photographic images (in black) and bold horizontal stripes of turquoise (Think of a true turquoise with just a drop of Peacock Blue mixed in).
It caught my eye because it seems to have an image of the Smith featured prominently, but I wasn't able to find the reference image online.
The fabric is a lightweight cotton. It would be suitable for a quilt, a shirt, a tote bag, curtains, and probably boxer short, but not upholstery.
It measures 45" wide. The vertical repeat is 16" with each turquoise band being 3" and the white being 5". Horizontally the the black bands (with drawn images of a of a nude woman and a Native American) is 1 3/8" wide and the white space (featuring the images) is 9 3/4" wide. The last image shows the right half of the fabric - displaying the horizontal repeat.
The price is per yard. This listing shows a quantity available af 10 yards, but I have more - if you need a larger quantity please contact me.
The fabric has the maker's mark along salvage - Santa Cruz.
Shipping shown if for the US only, please contact me for International shipping.
