(What does he mean by "reduced"...? Well, it's a glass torchwork term that means, well, more varied and interesting combinations of colors; it doesn't have anything to do with weight loss or prices, sorry.) Lotsa speckles and lotsa random-ish colors - really cool, tho. These glass eyes are great for a wide variety of projects, including polymer sculptures, OOAK dolls, jewelry, all kinds of stuff that you want to look right back atcha. (You can even cut the end of the wire at an angle and they make a great bulletin board pushpin - what could get you up out of that chair faster than a To Do List that stares you down.....?)
Hand made from Venetian glass rods in the dead of night by an artist with slight paranoid tendencies (well, now anyway), using a four-thousand degree torch. The glass is fused directly onto a stainless steel wire and painstakingly kiln annealed to remove any stress from the glass (and to help remove some stress from the user, too!)
Each purchase consists of a package of 10 (ten) eyes.
Diameters of the eyeballs themselves, as well as the pupils, will vary somewhat within the package, but average around 6 - 7mm.
Notes, Disclaimers and Other Blahblah: Eyes on wire are typically on a .035" (~1/29th" - how about that!) stainless steel wire approximately 3" long which is easily bent or trimmed to fit your needs. Shorter lengths of wire can be provided at no additional cost - just let us know. The glass colors pictured on these pages will display differently from one monitor to the next.
These creations are more or less unique and, as such, we cannot supply guaranteed matched pairs of eyes. You can, however, usually find quite a few pretty good matchups in every bag.
Because of the physics involved, there is a certain minimum size that these special eyes must be. We do our best to make them as small as possible for those who may need teeny-tiny, itty-bitty eyes, but we still haven't found a way around those pesky laws of the universe. (As soon as we do, we will use our time machine to go back and fix this hurdle, we promise, first thing.)
Sorry, we cannot accept non-US currency, IOUs, gold dust, stamps, livestock, or promissory notes.
P.S.: fair warning: we also like to toss bonus items in at random........
So lovely and amazing. I am never disappointed with the eyes. I look forward to each batch with a great sense of anticipation.

Everything great, now I just have to make the rest of the swamp creature that's hovering in my creative consciousness!
Shipping is via USPS First Class mail, within the United States of America. A shipping, packaging, handling, double-checking, triple-checking and envelope-licking charge will be calculated (considerably higher for international orders - hey, we're not happy about this either, but the rates just got horribly jacked up ) will apply to all orders. Really heavy, dense, enormous, massive, humongous orders will require additional postage, charged at a ridiculously low added cost. We will let you know before shipping if this applies, but it sure doesn't happen often. In fact, it hasn't happened yet, so don't sweat it. Note: multiple orders can be combined for cheaper shipping. This could get a bit strange with multiple international orders, owing to the vastly different rates on packages vs. envelopes. Fear not, however, as we will make sure that whatever the combined shipping rate turns out to be is the lowest possible sum, despite whatever the automatically calculated rate is shown as. Insurance is generally not necessary, but, if requested, will be added to the shipping price. (Fair Warning: this could add a day or two onto shipping, as our Express Marmot must wait in line at the Post Office to accomplish this.)
Any applicable sales tax is included in our listed price (now how often do ya hear that?)
