Add something special to your table with this stunning Lone Star table topper. Make it in red and green for Christmas or in your favourite colours to use every day.

This is a project for a quilter with some experience. You need to be able to cut and sew accurately and know how to cut binding strips on the bias.

Skill Level: 3 out of 5 (Intermediate)

Finished size: 23 ½’’ from point to point at its widest

Fabric requirements:
• 1 fat eighth of fabric A
• 1 fat quarter of fabric B
• ½ yard fabric C for top and binding
• 27’’ x 27’’ backing fabric
• 27’’ x 27’’ batting

Other requirements:
• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
• Threads for piecing and quilting
• Iron and ironing board
• Sewing machine with ¼’’ foot for piecing and walking foot or free-motion foot for quilting
• Basting spray or quilters’ safety pins
