SALE OOAK Hand Made Sterling Silver Pendant With A Round Facetted Peridot And A Rectangular Rare Green Moldavite Power Stone & 14kt Gold Was $135.00 Now $110.00!

Boho, zen and a powerful combination of natural, balancing energies. 38mm long by 24mm wide at the widest point. Oval shaped with rounded top and flat across the bottom.
Wavy background texture with a 7mm round, 4mm tall, transparent, highly polished, bright green peridot gemstone at the top center.
Below this is a series of applied flat silver diamond shapes in a circle like flower petals. In the center is an applied silver wire spiral with a raised solid bead of silver in the middle.
Below, on either side is a solid, raised bead of silver plated with 14kt gold.
Just below and between these is a rectangular moldavite gem stone. It measures 10mm wide by 15mm long and 6mm tall. It is chromium green, translucent in light, with a natural, rippled surface and a soft sheen.
The back is plain with a soft shine and the 925 stamp, the mark of sterling silver quality. The stone settings are open backed, allowing light to illuminate the stones.
At the top is a loop for hanging with a 4mm opening.
Peridot is a bit of a conundrum, it is one of the few stones found in only one color, but is known by three names: Peridot, Olivin and Chrysolith. It is told that the name Peridot is derived from the Greek word “peridona” with a meaning that runs along the lines of “giving plenty”.
The reason for the deep green color with a slight golden hue is due to fine traces of iron. The amount of iron is what gives the stone a range of color from yellow-green and olive to brownish green. The olive green stones are called Olivine, the yellow ones Chrysolite and the spring green are Peridot.
Moldavite is a member of the Tektite group of natural glasses formed from interplanetary collisions. Tektites are glassy mixtures of silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide and other metal oxides with an amorphous crystal structure. Translucent Moldavite is a deep forest green and is the only variety suitable for cutting and faceting as a gem.
This beautiful stone is rare, found only in Czechoslovakia, and is named for the area in which it is found, near the Moldau River. While scientists differ in theories regarding Moldavite's origin, nearly all agree it's formation coincides with the crash of a large meteorite approximately 14.8 million years ago in what is now the Bohemian plateau. The rock metamorphosed by the heat of impact created a strew field of Moldavite in the two, mostly rural, areas of Bohemia and Moravia.
