A great set of 1930's tighttop buttons that are so evocative of the era. These buttons are celluloid bubble tops on a metal base and are in excellent condition. At 1.5 inches, they are a great size for a coat or jacket, to replace boring ones, or finish off a special sewing project.
Also very collectible, and useful in mixed media and jewelry projects. Simply put, they don't make buttons like these any more and probably never will.
Button used to be, and should still be, an important part of the clothing to which it is attached. People used to know that....what happened?
Anyway, a set of four buttons in this condition is not easy to find. Button heaven for those of us who love buttons.
What goes around, comes around. Love of quality and beauty from the past is happiness.
