Printing your digital collage sheets: a few tips to get the best print.
1) A photo printer is the way to go and there are many great choices for a very small investment
2) Use the appropriate paper - don't use regular printer paper because you're just not going to get the best output. Use a photo paper. My personal favorite is Epston Matte Premium Presentation Paper. This stuff is the bomb - produces wonderful color and when the ink is dry it renders your print virtually waterproof, especially useful if you like to do image transfers or use a medium to glue your artwork together.
3) Don't forget to adjust your printer settings. Most important. It won't matter much if you do have the best printer and the best paper in the world because you have to tell your printer how you want it to print. In your printer's dialog box make sure to select the proper paper and print setting. If using matte paper then select matte, if glossy then glossy. Print quality set to Regular or High should do the trick. The difference between the two is negligible if you're using the matte paper. For glossy paper set the print quality to High.
