WEDDING DAY Letterpress Alphabet Typeface Print Blocks for Scrapbooking family photos and moments
The WEDDING DAY is great for bride and groom gifts, scrapbooking, measuring 10/16" tall and 1/2" wide when pressed. Nice large letters. This is part of a collection I purchased at an old monastary circa 1940's upstate NY, they were using for their religious bulletins at the church.
spells WEDDING DAY !
These are made of metal and range in age from the 40s to the 60s, originally purchased in a set from a monastery. They retired this job cabinet and was in storage from 1962 on. Therefore the letters were added and collected over time. These make great displays, or are functional as stampers onto paper or sometimes for soft pressing into clay. I have used them in collage work. As there are comprised of a softer metal they are not good for metal stamping.
These are for adults, not for children. These are not a toy and are true vintage collectibles. Do not eat, they have no nutritional value and should be kept away from children. Old metal typeface may contain leaded metals or lead components, so handle responsibly. When I do a lot of pressing with my old letters, I do wear gloves to avoid my hands from turning dark from the metal oxidation.

Shipping & policies
GREENER: Items are packed with recycled packing materials.
EXPEDITED: Sorry, due to work travel issues I can't overnight anything. I ship at least once per week.
For glove molds, heavy melmac, and large items I will need a physical address--not a PO BOX as UPS won't deliver there.
Please note: If your Paypal address is different than your Etsy, your order may be delayed until I verify which one is accurate.
CANADA ISSUES: I no longer ship glove molds to Montreal, Canada due to breakage and problems at that UPS hub. If you live in Montreal, Canada, then you must provide alternate shipping address for me to ship to.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Please note you will be responsible for any import, customs, or duties taxes accessed by your government on incoming parcels. Failure to pay results in the package being abandoned in your country and I can't be responsible for that. These fees include duties, taxes, and other fees as your country may impose in addition to payment to me.
POSTAGE: I do ship internationally and to date, no problems but I must warn you it's expensive. Since the US has done away with "surface" mail which was the least expensive options, your package must go FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL (under 4 lbs, not traceable) or PRIORITY MAIL (very expensive, but traceable).
*CANADA / UPS UPS is now offering a wider shipping range, if you do not see the item offered to Canada please convo me and I can check rates.
I accept Etsy Checkout, Etsy Giftcards or Paypal. Please note INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS, international shipments may be subject to duties, taxes, and other fees as your country may impose in addition to payment to me. This is your responsibility.

DAMAGE: High dollar items shipped UPS with applicable insurance. I pack like Fort Knox. If you are purchasing an item under $50 and desire insurance, please CONVO me.
LOSSES: I ship most items via Paypal where you can track the package. I use delivery confirmation and once that item is delivered, I've done my job. Please keep an eye on the tracking and address immediate issues to your mail carrier. I can't be responsible for items lost or stolen because you had it delivered to your work, or left on your porch for weeks.
