Here is an easy, fun embroidery project from the 1940s or 1950s! This Bucilla embroidery kit, still in its original packaging, contains four pure Belgian linen napkins stamped for embroidery, plus all the colorful floss you'll need to complete the project. The napkins are generous, dinner sized: 17" square. They are creamy white and have pretty scalloped edges finished with a machine buttonhole/overcast stitch in a warm coral shade. The design is a simple floral spray to be completed in cross stitches, lazy daisy and outline stitch. Instructions for the embroidery are on the back of the label sheet. The appear to be in outstanding condition--no flaws visible, no vintage odors! We have not opened the package--it's still sealed just as it came from the factory. Please note that the package shows other linens that were sold separately in this same "Gourmet Garden" pattern--this package is the napkins only.
