NEW YORK PATTERN 1238 ~ early to mid 1930s Juniors and Misses Dress ~ closing at left side front. Waist cut in one with long sleeves, attached three-piece skirt, removable belt.
ART DECO styling on sleeve and shoulders ~ very unusual ~ Asymmetrical closing with single decorative button on left side.
Envelope in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition ~ pattern appears to have been never used ~ factory folds
Bust 31 ~ vintage size 13
But don't let the size discourage you ~ Any pattern piece can be converted to a larger or smaller size using tracing paper and extending a line through the grain line. Directions on how is shown in Patterns of Fashion V. 1 by Janet Arnold, page 75.
I'm destashing and selling patterns I haven't the time to grade into a different size.
Pattern would look LOVELY in silk crepe or rayon pebble crepe in eggplant purple with chartreuse trim
