Sewing case or kit made with soft lightweight Tilda cotton print and linen cotton blend fabrics, in pink and yellow
Every organised woman has the wherewithall within her handbag to sew on a button or make a quick running repair in an emergency while travelling. Not every woman keeps this wherewithall in a pretty sewing case!
This sewing case is machine and hand stitched using a pretty Tilda cotton rose print and a deep pink Robert Kaufman Essex Linen, with pages of pure wool felt in the centre for needles and pins. The button is coconut shell, the fixing loop is crocheted gold lurex to add a touch of bling, the case is softly padded, and there is a little embroidery inside on the front pocket.
I’ve added a few stitching essentials to get you started: a pair of mini scissors in their own scissor case on the inside back, some pretty long dressmaker’s pins, safety pins, three needles, a needle threader and a card wrapped with white and black thread, although you can buy the case without these, if you prefer. I’ve also added a little pocket at the front that's secured with a press stud so that you can add in your own extra equipment and supplies.
The case when closed is 10.5cm tall by 10cm. If there is a particular Tilda fabric you like or you're looking for another size or different features, I'd be happy to make you a case as a custom order - just convo me.

Shipping & policies
On receipt of your order, I'll confirm whether the item you’ve requested is in stock. If it is, I'll usually post it to you within 48 hours. Because of the nature of my items, many of them are handmade to order and if this is the case, I'll confirm the estimated dispatch date to you on receipt of your order.
I can ship anywhere, shipping costs are given for each item.
For larger / more valuable items, the shipping costs stated already include UK signed for postage or Tracked postage for International shipping but I do also offer some shipping upgrades for most other domestic and international packages, which you will see as an option in your cart when you check out. One of the upgrades is for tracked international postage, which is the best international service available at a reasonable cost. International Tracked items receive priority handling and benefit from an online tracking facility so you can check your items's progress right through to delivery. If you're in Continental Europe and would like to upgrade your Standard Shipping item to the tracked service, please message for a quotation, as it may be lower than shown at checkout.
I'm also happy to post direct to a giftee and include a hand written message - either include this on your order or convo me separately, whichever is easier for you.
If you have other particular postage or delivery needs, please convo me to discuss. Please note that I can't expedite or guarantee delivery internationally, but the service to most countries is already generally pretty quick from the UK (for example, 1 to 2 weeks to the USA).
Delivery is always as per the Royal Mail’s estimated delivery timetable (see the Post Office web site: http://www.postoffice.co.uk/).

The only payments I accept are via PayPal, a secure payment processing company. You don’t need to have a PayPal account of your own to use this service as you can pay with your credit or debit card and I will never see your card information, only your shipping address, email address and the details of your order.

Items must be returned to me within a reasonable period and you should obtain proof of postage. Goods should be returned in the same condition and in the same packaging as when they were sent to you, and packed carefully. I reserve the right to refuse any returns if the condition of the item(s) differs from that which was sent out. All refunds will be issued via PayPal within 14 calendar days.
Custom made / made to order items:
I won't accept a return or issue a refund where the reason for return is that you have simply changed your mind.
Where goods are not as ordered or are damaged on receipt and you return them, the return postage costs will be refunded to you (on the basis of the mode of return postage I agree with you BEFORE you send the item(s) back to me).
I also have the right to cancel if I'm unable to fulfill your order due to circumstances beyond my control (such as being unable to obtain a specific material necessary to the item’s construction). I will always seek to offer you a suitable alternative in these circumstances, but if this isn’t possible or the alternative isn’t acceptable to you and I do need to cancel your order, I will provide a full refund via PayPal within 14 calendar days of confirming cancellation to you.

None of the items offered for sale on this site are suitable as toys for children.
Whilst every effort is made to provide an accurate representation of items for sale, small details may vary due to the handmade nature of the items. If I need to substitute a material used for a design, I'll obtain your agreement in the first instance and cancel the order with no charge to you, if the substitute is unacceptable to you.
Please be aware that colours vary between computer monitors so whilst my photographs are as accurate as possible, the colours may appear differently to you on screen to the physical item.
