Cereus Hildmannianusis a species of cactus from South America. Cereus Hildmannianus has a tree like growth habit with a distinct trunk after which it branches freely up to 30 feet tall. The stem is blue-green in color when young, becoming duller green with age, up to 8 inches (20 cm) across. The white flowers are very large, up to 12 inches (30 cm) long and up to 6 inches (15 cm) in diameter. The cereus hildmannianus are slow growing , up to 30 feet tall. The stems are 4 to 8 inches in diameter; with 5 to 8 ribs which are divided into segments. Very attractive for landscape. It should be protected below 26° F. The Queen of the night blooms at night at the end of the spring. The flowers are white and opens up at night and close around mid morning. The large red egg shaped fruit is red with white pulp that split open when ripe. This cactus plant was taken from a 100 year old cactus Plant from my husband's grandmother' cactus tree. My husband planted this in our yard about 10 years ago

Absolutely beautiful cactus. Just got a chance to pot it. The cactus came well packaged and undamaged. I can’t wait to see it start to root and grow. This size cutting is hard to find and I would highly recommend!
