This is a well made, rare knife combination set in a leather scabbard. Made in Germany and stamped on both knife blades, the set was made as a "Camping Boy" item, to be worn on the belt as a tool for a young boy. The single blade Bowie style hunting knife had a 4 3/4" x 1" wide blade. It slides snugly into the scabbard with a snap closure around the top of the handle.
The bottom multi-tool opens with a can opener, bottle opener and 2 1/2" pen knife blade. It slides into the bottom leather pouch and has a metal ring that a snap closure secures in place. The 'C' in camping is almost entirely worn from the knife. The set measures 9" x 2" overall. There is some stitching that has come undone, but is a great find and has vintage character, patina and makes a great collectible or display piece.
