The great thing about well-made tools is that they can last a lifetime (or 2 or 3). This handsaw has probably been in my family for at least three generations and is still usable today. It comes with a rusty blade, which I'm sure is sharp, but would probably need sharpening if you were going to use it in earnest. Or if you're feeling lazy, just hang it on the wall and stare at its beauty.
Like all the items in my shop, this saw comes from my family's 100-year-old farm in Southwest Michigan. This item is used, but not used up.

Shipping & policies
I process orders every night when I get home from my 9-5 job. Most of the time that means they will be at the post office or FedEx for delivery the next morning (unless it's the weekend, then Monday). When possible, I use used boxes to ship items because it cuts down on cardboard waste, it cuts down on shipping costs and, frankly, because you don't care what the box looks like as long as what you bought is inside and arrives safely. What's the last time you bought something and were like, "Ooo, this box is sweet!" I know I never have.
If you see more than one item in the shop that you'd like to purchase, I can combine shipping. Just send me a conversation before you hit "buy" and I can adjust the shipping rates first so we don't have to go through the hassle of a refund.
Shipping to the West and Southwest can be very pricey for me since I'm shipping from Michigan. Items sent to those locations may be shipped by FedEx as opposed to USPS Priority Mail to help keep costs down. Sometimes that means packages will get there a little slower. If you need your package promptly, please write me a note when making your order, and I can usually accommodate.
