Item details

Includes CROCHET PATTERN for the FUN BEAR hat in 4 sizes to fit baby (18"), toddler (19"), child (20"), teen-adult (22"). Also included is a supplement to show you how to add earflaps to your hat! Two bonus patterns give you my free patterns.

You will need a U.S.-8 (H or size for gauge) hook for the main hat, a hook one size smaller for details, and 100% cotton worsted weight yarn, such as Sugar 'n Creme as used in the sample. A soft (but not brushed) acrylic also works well.

Use your favorite colors to create this fun hat for all the kids (or the young at heart) in your life.

This pattern has been meticulously checked by me and double checked by a tester. However, please contact me if you have ANY questions. I will happily provide email support for any of my patterns.

Knowledge and experience in crochet on an EASY--INTERMEDIATE level is assumed in the instructions. This is probably not a good beginner project.

I have been selling my items online since 2003 and my patterns since 2007. Buy with confidence! I guarantee everything 100%. In this spirit, I will answer any questions on this pattern and provide helpful assistance. However, there are NO REFUNDS ON PATTERNS.

This item will be provided by instant download in PDF format. Please make sure you have a PDF reader installed before your purchase. These are available for free online.

Buyer is granted permission to sell any item made from the pattern. However, buyer is not allowed to resell, copy or give away the pattern itself. Pattern is copyrighted by Lucinda Schafer, 2007.

If you need a hard copy of the pattern, please email me for shipping and printing charges. I will set up a private listing for you to include the pattern, printing and shipping.

If you don't see what you would like in my shop, please email me for a custom order!

All my items are handmade by me in my smoke-free home studio.

Thanks for looking!

I have been selling my items since 2003. Buy with confidence. I guarantee everything 100%. Additional policies

If you don't see what you need in my store, please email me for a custom order.

All my items are handmade by me in my smoke-free home studio. All sewn seams are overlocked on a serger or otherwise finished appropriately. My fabrics and blanks are always prewashed to prevent shrinkage and bleeding issues.

My crocheted items are made with care with an even tension; and the ends are all finished off so they will not pull out. I select my yarns for kids and easy care. I usually use 100% cotton or a cotton/acrylic blend. I do not use wool--it makes me itch. :)
