When I first started spinning, I picked fiber based on whether or not the colors drew me. I didn't write down what fiber I was spinning. This wool is almost certainly Corriedale, but I can't be 100% certain.
The roving was a lovely burgundy-red, with smidges of colonial blue, and green and yellow. It spun up into this lovely burgundy heather. It was very difficult to get an accurate picture - the yarn wanted to look more like a cranberry, but it's not, really.
There are 308 yards of yarn in this skein, 7.1 ozs - so not quite half a pound. It is between 7 and 8 WPI, which makes it a bulky/Aran weight yarn.
