If you enjoy creating wearable art (have a lot of fabric in your stash) and learning new techniques, you will enjoy making this jacket. Some of the techniques include: strip piecing, Sashiko quilting, applique, meandering bias strips and dimensional bias tubes.
The center front of the jacket is a solid panel embellished with your choice of Sashiko design. There are two designs included in the pattern pack. The clever closures are created with bias tubes and faux Asian coins. There are two front pockets and the entire front includes the bias strips and tubes.
The center back of the jacket is a strip pieced panel with three fans appliqued with bias trim. The meandering bias and tubes continue on the back. The cuffs are strip pieced to continue the same look as on the center back.
Sizes s, m, l, on tissue, step-by-step instructions and illustrations.
