Quilt Stamp set for making a 6" Alabama Star block (without acrylic block*)
This set includes 7 stamps for making the Alabama Star pattern: - stamp 1 to 4 for making the large star - stamp 5 to 7 for making the smaller star (see numbers in drawing on front)
The stamps are made of natural rubber and have a white cling foam back side layer. Lay down the rubber stamp with the white cling foam side up. Push down an acrylic block at the white cling foam, it will ‘glue’ itself. You can remove your stamp from the acrylic and change for another.
Use for stamping on fabrics a VersaCraft stamping pad. Push the pad on the stamp, and then print at the backside of the fabric. (You can print multiple times after inking) Fixate your fabric after stamping by ironing, VersaCraft promises you that the inkt will not color bleed after washing.
Cut out the fabric pieces at the outline and sew them together at the inner line.
Always clean your stamps after use, they will last longer. Use for cleaning a ready-to-use baby lotion towel (without oil), or clean them under the water tap. Let the stamps dry, and put them back in the packaging. Store your stamps in a dark place, never leave them at a warm place.
The Alabama Star quilt pattern is made in collaboration with Barbara Brackman and Donna Pyle, this pattern is registered. Copyright 2016
