Q - Are you able to provide a free sample of one of your products for me to review?

A - Ash & Goat does not provide samples in exchange for reviews. Reviews from our satisfied paying customers are what matters most to us.

Q - Would you like to get involved in a wholesale agreement with me?

A - At the moment, no. We're just a little shop, we're happy with just stocking our shop and filling orders for our customers through Ash and Goat. But we do wish you all the best in your endevours and thank you for considering us!

Q - Can I negotiate a shipping price with you?

A - As we keep our shipping prices as low as possible, we're unable to negotiate new shipping prices for items, but we will give you a combined shipping price for multiple items.

Q - Will you make me an item that has nothing to do with altar decor or esoteric items?

A - Sure! It depends on what kind of item you're after, but we'd be happy to work with you to make a spice rack, trinket box or other wooden object to suit your needs.

Q - I see you make quite a few items related to paganism and the occult, would you be willing to make me a religious item outside of that spectrum?

A - Absolutely! We will cater to any religious or spiritual path without discrimination.

Q - I would like a custom crystal elixer, would you be able to make that for me?

A - Yes! If you know what crystal you would like the elixer to be created from, just let us know, if you're not sure what would suit your needs, we can advise you on what would be best for your situation.

Q - How exactly do you make your wooden items?

A - First, I decide what I want to make, then I design it on paper. After the design is finished, I take it to my workshop and start crafting and shaping the wood. I don't own a laser cutter/engraver or a CNC router, all my work is done with electric or hand tools. With the intricate cuts and designs, I prefer to use a good old fashioned coping saw!

When the pieces are cut out and sanded, if applicable, I'll carve the wood and apply the stain, paint or oil.

After the pieces are completely dry, I'll then apply the polyurethane finish. When the pieces have dried for the final time, I'll secure them together and check that everything is the way I want it.

Sometimes I'll take photos throughout the process and upload them onto an album on facebook. With custom items, you're most welcome to request that I document the process, I love bringing the customer along for the journey!
