I saw this scalloped collar in an old picture and I knew it could make up as really cute dresses for 'the girls'. The pattern is a bit on the fussy side; but, I think you'll agree it is worth the effort.
The dresses have two collar, three sleeve (actually,, two sleeve and one sleeveless) and two skirt options. Oh, yes, I think you'll find one of the sleeves kinda interesting. Just a little different.
This pattern may not be for the beginner as there are no drawings in the instructions; only well-written directions and the usual pattern pieces. If you have the assistance of an experienced seamstress, you will probably be successful.
I have a background in design, dressmaking and tailoring. When my little granddaughter, Sydney, asked for a doll that was 'easy to dress', I pulled out an American Girl catalogue, she selected Kirstin, and I was off and running. So a few years and many patterns later, here I am anxious to share my wares with you.
This is so cute. I think you'll enjoy making it.
